Announced on the Sonic The Hedgehog twitter, Sonic Frontiers will be having updates in 2023.
In the content road map, Frontiers will have 3 waves of updates.
The first wave adding a juke box mode to listen to music, a highly requested photo mode and new challenge modes. In the photo of new challenge modes, it shows super Sonic, which could mean a possible boss rush added. Wave 2 will celebrate Sonic’s birthday which is June 23rd, along with new open zone challenges and new coco. As for the final wave, it with feature new playable characters and a new story. The picture features Tails, Knuckles and Amy who haven’t been playable in a 3D Sonic game since Rise of Lyric. The fun is just beginning for Sonic, there is more fun to go around for the blue blur in 2023.

To prepare for the holidays, Frontiers will also be receiving a Christmas outfit free on December 21st!
